Information Regarding Vehicles Transiting to Third Countries via Georgia

Dear Business Partner,

We would like to inform you about the announcement titled "Vehicles Transiting to Third Countries via Georgia" issued by the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey.

According to the announcement, vehicles entering our country through the Kapıkule, Hamzabeyli, and İpsala Border Customs Gates and transiting through Georgia to reach third countries will be directed primarily to the Aktaş Border Gate by the entry customs authorities. Furthermore, if there is a request from Türkgözü or other customs gates, these vehicles may also be directed to exit from other customs gates.

This new regulation will be applicable to vehicles entering from ports under the scope of RO-RO transportation as of October 23, 2023.
