Kazakhstan Transit Documents

The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, General Directorate of Transport Services Regulation, has issued an important announcement regarding Kazakhstan Transit Documents. Details of this announcement are provided below:

Due to a significant increase in trade volume between our country and Kazakhstan by 67% in 2023 compared to the previous year, efforts have been made to obtain additional transit documents for Kazakhstan. As a result of these efforts, an initial batch of 1,000 additional transit documents has been procured, and it has been decided to use these documents as transit documents within the serial number range of 79808 - 80807, which are currently in use.

Therefore, the distribution of the new transit documents to be used for shipments to Kazakhstan is underway. The Kazakhstan transit documents within the mentioned serial number range will be distributed until the single-type transit documents are exhausted.

In light of these developments and changes, we kindly request our business partners to take this notification into consideration and make necessary adjustments. It is important for our business partners to be informed about the transit document requirements when shipping to Kazakhstan and to take appropriate measures.
